How to become a professional dancer is a question that would bother beginners who seek to make a livelihood from this industry. There is need to understand what it entails and be aware of what the industry offers. The industry has provided variety in dancing genres which are performed on different occasions and to different audience. This calls for awareness on what you want and the market segment you would like to serve.

The genres that are marketable include tap, jazz, salsa, hip hop and ballet, among others. To become the best in these dances, one is required to enroll into a dancing school for guidance by tutors. Some of the moves are complex and require careful guidance. The tutors are there to pinpoint mistakes and applaud when you do the right thing. You will stick within the rules of each genre.
